About this collection

Most young people with an eating disorder aren't underweight, and many don't fit the picture people expect. Changes in mood and behaviour usually come first, which puts the adults who see them every day in the best place to notice.

This pathway helps you act on what you notice. You'll learn how anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder and ARFID differ, and how to open a worried conversation without shame or blame. You'll find out what a CAMHS referral needs so the team can judge how urgent it is, and what happens after you send it. Support carries on long after treatment starts, so there's help with keeping yourself going too.

Finish it and you'll have a pathway certificate to add to your CPD record.
