About this course
Staff wellbeing tends to land on one person's desk, usually on top of a full job, with no obvious place to start.
This is the course for schools and colleges working towards the Human Kind Award. You'll rate where you are against the award's standards, red, amber or green, then spend 90 minutes with a coach who has led schools, agreeing this year's focus. After that, each module gives you ideas to try. Set clear expectations for answering emails out of hours, plan a meeting-free week for the busiest point of the year, support colleagues through the menopause, or plan a good return after a long absence.
You won't be doing it alone. Two or three colleagues can take the course with you, and a network meets every half term so you can swap notes with other wellbeing leads.
- For governors, mental health leads and 2 other roles. All phases.
