About this course
When you're the one holding the family together, your own wellbeing tends to slip to the bottom of the pile. But if you wobble, everyone wobbles with you, so looking after yourself isn't selfish.
The Five Ways to Wellbeing give you an easy place to start, and this course takes four of them: connect, take notice, keep learning and give. Each comes with ideas small enough to try today, such as phoning a friend instead of sending a text, or making a cup of tea for someone who's struggling. And when your mind keeps going over the past or racing ahead to what might go wrong, the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique brings you back to where you are.
To make it last, there's the 10-minute rule. Pick two of the ways and give them 10 minutes every day.
