About this course
By the time the books come in, it's too late to help the pupils who missed the point in that lesson.
These quick assessment for learning techniques drop into any lesson and make pupils' thinking visible as it happens. Pupils move to one of four corners to show their answer, stand on a line between agree and disagree, or argue over the order of nine cards in a Diamond 9. Pose, pause, pounce and bounce gives everyone time to think before anyone answers, and exit tickets tell you where to start next time.
Each technique comes with a title card to put up in class, a short explanation and templates, so you can try one in your next lesson.
