About this course
When the pressure's on, breaks are usually the first thing to go. Lunch happens at your desk, the to-do list grows and a critical voice tells you everyone else is coping better.
A bit of pressure helps you perform, and this course shows you how to stay in that zone. You'll use the stress performance curve to check whether you're overstretched or under-stimulated. Then come time-management tools that work in a school: time blocking with small buffers between tasks, and the Eisenhower matrix to decide what to do now, delegate or drop. You'll also practise saying no, look at how perfectionism adds pressure, and find ways to stop going over the same worry.
Often the quickest win is deciding what can come off today's list altogether.
- For early career teachers, middle leaders and 5 other roles. All phases.
