About this course
She sits still in class, so nobody thinks of ADHD. But she daydreams through lessons, can't get out of the door on time, talks non-stop about the things she loves and takes the smallest criticism to heart. Girls like her are often missed for years.
Here you'll see what ADHD can look like when the hyperactivity is on the inside. That might be a mind that races through the night, a need to keep talking, time blindness, or rejection sensitivity dysphoria, which hardly ever comes up in an assessment. You'll also pick up simple things that help, like visual prompts that show what 10 minutes looks like and instructions broken into small pieces.
It comes from a neurodiversity coach who masked her own ADHD until she was diagnosed at 34, and who is also the mum of two diagnosed girls.
