About this course
Cake in the staff room won't make up for a head who sends emails at 10pm, or for staff who dread the chat after an observation. How you lead from day to day shapes how people feel far more.
This recorded Staff Wellbeing Network session, led by a former headteacher, helps you look honestly at your own leadership and at what staff actually experience. You'll get an anonymous scatter-chart survey that shows how valued staff feel and how strong they think the wellbeing culture is, and a simple framework built on empowerment, recognition, growth and connection. There's a practical swap for observation feedback too: start with thank-yous and questions rather than "so how do you think it went?"
You'll leave with something to try this week and a plan for the month ahead.
- For mental health leads, middle leaders and 2 other roles. All phases.
