About this course
Between the washing, the dinners and the bills, it's hard to switch into playful mode, and the phone is always there for a moment's peace. Yet laughing together is one of the quickest ways to feel close to your child.
This is a course to do standing up. You'll pick up games that tell your child you're ready to play, like flashing a secret smile, or a straight-faced stare where the first to laugh loses. You'll try laughing like a whale, then an evil genius. There's a counting game that ties you both in knots on the school run, and a story told one word each that shows you what's on your child's mind.
At bedtime, 'what made you smile today?' is a gentle way to end the day, even a bad one. And you'll know when your child needs a hug more than a joke.
