About this course

Late at night, with nothing to distract you, the inner voice gets loud. You should have done better, you've forgotten something, you're not good enough. If you spend your days looking after pupils, colleagues or your own family, it's easy to leave yourself off the list.

This course gives you permission to put yourself back on it, and some simple ways to do it. Meet Negative Nora, Positive Pete and Reasonable Rita, and learn to let the reasonable one have the last word. Sort your worries into what's in your circle of control and what isn't, and put your energy where it can make a difference. Then end each day by naming your three brightest moments, however small.

You'll also look honestly at the habits that feel like help and aren't, like the Friday glass of wine that starts turning up on Wednesdays.

  • For early career teachers, governors and 6 other roles. All phases.
