About this collection
Most exams pass quietly. It's the late candidate, the phone under a desk or the recording that cuts out halfway that show whether you know the rules or are guessing at them.
This exam invigilator training covers both kinds of exam. For written papers, it turns the JCQ's Instructions for Conducting Examinations into plain steps, from setting up the room to securing scripts at the end. Oral exams come round less often, so you'll learn what's different about them, from testing the recording equipment to staying neutral, since even a nod at a good answer can count as unfair help.
You'll finish ready for either kind of exam room, with a pathway certificate to show it.

- Handle late arrivals, illness and toilet breaks by the rules
